I’ve been illustrating in different styles for so long that I’ve kind of lost my way on what really is my style. Last time I spent lots of time on comics, my people where comic style melonheads. For reference, this was my style some 20 years ago. Hand inked. Labour of love.

I got myself a wacom early on, and ten years later, this was pretty much the style.

Then I got an ipad and loved it, if you ask me to draw my alter ego today, this is what you’ll get:

This is fun and all, but I miss the craft. The smell of ink. The speed. So Im going back, will try to find a style that works both digital and with traditional ink. So bear with me as I hash it out here. Api has some epic adventures ahead of her 🙂
